1. StudioCMS software downloads
StudioCMS CMS packages and update packages are provided for installation on compatible hosting environments. You are responsible for maintaining backups, testing updates on staging when practical, protecting administrator credentials, and confirming server compatibility before applying changes to a production website.
2. Theme marketplace
The marketplace may offer Free, Standard, and Exclusive themes. Theme availability can change at any time. A theme shown in the catalog is not reserved until the applicable checkout flow reserves it, and an exclusive purchase is final only after the payment provider confirms payment and the marketplace completes the exclusive transfer.
3. Free theme license
A theme marked Free may be downloaded without a theme purchase fee. Unless a theme ZIP contains a separate license notice, the theme may be used to build and operate a website, modified for that website, and retained as part of that website's project files. You may not represent StudioCMS or the original theme author as endorsing your website.
4. $10 Standard theme license
A Standard purchase grants the purchaser a non-exclusive right to download, install, customize, and use the purchased theme for a website project. The same theme may remain listed and may be licensed to other customers. A Standard license does not promise uniqueness, exclusivity, trademark clearance, or that another customer has not previously customized the same theme.
5. $260 Exclusive marketplace purchase
An Exclusive purchase grants the purchaser marketplace exclusivity for that theme as sold by StudioCMS. After PayPal confirms the $260 payment and the marketplace completes the transaction, the theme is automatically removed from the active theme catalog and moved to protected sold-theme storage.
Marketplace exclusivity is prospective. Customers who lawfully obtained that theme before the exclusive purchase—including Free or Standard licensees where applicable—retain the rights they already received. StudioCMS cannot guarantee that prior copies, screenshots, customized derivatives, cached pages, archived pages, or third-party copies disappear from the internet. Exclusive marketplace purchase also does not by itself transfer trademarks, stock-photo rights, fonts, third-party software licenses, or ownership of third-party assets.
6. Payments
Paid theme checkout is processed through PayPal. You are responsible for providing accurate payment information and complying with PayPal's terms. The amount displayed at checkout controls the intended theme license. If a payment is charged but the automated download or exclusive-removal flow fails, contact support with the PayPal transaction/order information so the transaction can be investigated.
7. Digital delivery, refunds and chargebacks
Because themes and CMS packages are digital products, purchases are generally considered delivered once download access is provided, except where applicable law requires otherwise or where StudioCMS confirms that the purchased digital product could not be delivered. Contact support before initiating a chargeback so delivery or transaction errors can be investigated.
8. Theme support and custom-theme requests
Support requests should include enough information to reproduce the issue. Theme Support requests may require the website URL, PayPal transaction ID and six-digit Theme ID. Do not submit passwords, private keys, PayPal credentials, API secrets or unrelated personal information through the support form.
9. Customer responsibilities
You are responsible for your website content, privacy notices, cookie/analytics consent, accessibility, legal disclosures, security, backups, domain/hosting configuration, and any third-party services connected to the CMS or theme. You must confirm that images, fonts, video, logos and other assets used on your site are properly licensed.
10. Prohibited use
You may not use StudioCMS downloads or marketplace infrastructure to distribute malware, steal credentials, bypass access controls, infringe intellectual-property rights, impersonate another party, interfere with the service, or attempt unauthorized access to protected theme, payment, order or support storage.
11. Updates and compatibility
CMS and theme updates may change files, styles, templates or requirements. Back up customized files before applying an update. A theme update may replace theme files; customizations should therefore be documented and tested before upgrading.
12. Availability and warranties
StudioCMS, themes and marketplace services are provided on an as-available basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. Website performance, search-engine ranking, analytics results, revenue, third-party API availability and uninterrupted hosting are not guaranteed.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, StudioCMS and its suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from use of the CMS, themes, updates or marketplace. Any mandatory rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
14. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated for future downloads, marketplace transactions or service changes. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the published version.
15. Contact and support
For a marketplace purchase, bug report, theme issue or custom-theme request, use the StudioCMS Support form.
